With the JAMES dementia watch, your disorientated relative receives the best possible protection with minimum restriction of their freedom.
When disorientated people have a tendency to wander off or walk away, this is a particularly great challenge for relatives or carers. Electronic monitoring of door exits is very expensive and often not feasible. Complete monitoring of those affected is also not possible or not wanted. A good solution to this problem is offered by the JAMES dementia clock.
People with dementia receive the inconspicuous JAMES emergency watch, which they wear permanently on their wrist. The watch has a SIM card and excellent localisation functions (GPS, WLAN). If the person being cared for goes missing, they can be found again using the James app. A movement zone can also be created around the primary location of the person with dementia. If the person leaves this zone, you as a relative or carer are automatically notified.
The resident is not at the designated place at a certain time (z. e.g. in the dining room). The carer in charge can now actively query the position of the person wearing the watch using a PC/tablet/smartphone. The resident can then be retrieved.
For affected persons who should generally no longer leave their place of residence, a movement zone can very easily be created in the JAMES system. The zone has a minimum diameter of 100 metres.
If the watch wearer leaves this zone, the alarm is triggered after a few minutes. An alarm chain with predefined telephone numbers (z. e.g. daughter, neighbour, etc.) are called one after the other, informing relatives that the person has left the movement zone. As described above, the missing person can now be easily located and retrieval can be initiated.
