Smart protection in everyday life<\/h3>\n

When disorientated family members show a tendency to wander, this poses a particular challenge for their relatives. Electronic monitoring systems at door exits are often very expensive or practically impossible to implement. An innovative solution to this problem is offered by the JAMES emergency care with the dementia extension (additional tariff)<\/strong><\/p>\n

People with a tendency to wander (also known as \"people at risk of wandering off\") can wear the discreet JAMES dementia watch, which is specially designed for permanent use on the wrist. The watch is equipped with a SIM card and has excellent localisation functions (GPS and WLAN).     A movement zone can be easily defined in the JAMES system for people who should generally not leave their living area. This zone has a minimum diameter of 100 metres.<\/p>\n

    As soon as the watch wearer leaves this zone, an alarm is triggered after a few minutes. One or more predefined telephone numbers (e.g. of family members) are automatically notified and informed that the person has left the zone. The missing person can then be located quickly and returned safely.<\/p>\n
