However, the reality is often different, as a fall is very difficult to detect. Here are some examples:

DizzinessThe watch wearer slides slowly to the floor and supports himself partially, e.g. on a chair.

StumbleA person trips over the edge of the carpet and falls to the floor.

Unintentional movementsThe watch wearer slaps the table with his hand.

Such scenarios are difficult to recognise clearly. All B and R models from JAMES have a fall sensor, but this only works to a limited extent. It can happen that the sensor triggers too often or does not react if the impact is too low. You can switch the fall sensor on or off as required at any time via the JAMES app.

The S model from JAMES offers an alternative solution: an integrated Inactivity sensor. This signals an alarm if the clock is not moved for a certain time (e.g. 15 minutes - 8 time levels can be set).

At JAMES, we are constantly working to improve fall detection. However, we know from experience that the Best security is achieved, if the watch is worn regularly. In most emergencies - whether it's a fall, fear or danger - help is then just a push of a button away!

Sturzerkennung Es gibt viele Uhren auf dem Markt, die behaupten, eine zuverlässige Sturzerkennung auf Basis von Bewegungssensoren zu bieten.
