Buying process in retail

You can use the JAMES emergency call products either directly in our online shop or from one of our retail partners. The purchase and activation processes in the trade behave as follows:

You have purchased a JAMES product from one of our in-store partners WITHOUT an emergency tariff voucher:

If you want to use your JAMES product already purchased from one of our partners in the shop, enter the link "myjames.shop/product/james-notruftarif" given in the packaging in your internet search bar. Now select "Activate emergency call" and enter the IMEI number* of your JAMES Products button. Then place your emergency call tariff in the shopping basket. Optionally, you can also choose one of the JAMES tariff extensions be solved. Once you are done with your selection, click on the shopping cart and follow the shop's further instructions. After you have successfully ordered your emergency call tariff, follow the link to register in the JAMES Portal. The data of the clock wearer and main helper can be entered there.

You have purchased a JAMES product from one of our partners in shop WITH an emergency call rate voucher:

As soon as you have chosen a JAMES product you also acquire a voucher for the corresponding JAMES emergency call tariff. The voucher is available for six or twelve months. After purchasing the product and emergency tariff, please visit the JAMES Online Shop at james.care/activate and give the IMEI number* of your product. Then click on the button "Activate emergency call". You will now be taken to the shopping basket. Enter the code of your voucher in the window and click on "Apply voucher". The Notruf voucher is now active and visible. Follow the shop's further instructions. After you have successfully ordered your emergency call tariff, follow the link to register in the JAMES Portal. The data of the clock wearer and main helper can be entered there.

*What is an IMEI number and where can I find it?

The IMEI number is the unique identification number of your JAMES Products. The number consists of a 15-digit numerical code which is used to recognise and activate a JAMES Devices is needed.

• B6: At the Emergency supply B6 the IMEI number is displayed on the screen while the watch is charging and can alternatively be found on the packaging.
• S6: The IMEI of the S6 can again be found on the underside of the packaging.
